Have you been made redundant?
You’re not alone. It happens to many people, who through no fault of their own find themselves having to leave an organisation and create a career elsewhere.
A whole range of emotions can come up, shock, anger, sadness. It can feel personal. You might feel lost, unsure of your options and not sure what to do next.
But there is a future, and times like this can often be an opportunity for really positive change.
Get support to find your new direction
One of the helpful things about working with a coach is the clarity and direction it brings when you’re trying to move on from redundancy. It can take time to adjust, to accept the change that has happened and feel ready to move on to something new. That’s perfectly normal.
Staying positive and kind to yourself in that early phase is important. You are not your job title, you are so much more! I help you be objective about your achievements, experience and strengths that you can bring to a new role, and I’ll support you in exploring your options and taking steps toward a new job or career.
People I’ve worked with tell me that it’s really useful to have structure so it feels like you’re making some progress. To find other ways of looking at things so what seems to be a brick wall stopping you, no longer feels like that. And it brings confidence to know there’s someone in your corner cheering you on when you don’t think you can do it.
